Opportunities for Bid

The Harriman Utility Board (HUB) is soliciting bids for the purchase of a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe (Premier) 4WD that meets HUB specifications, and all State and Local regulatory compliance requirements. Any applicable governmental discounts shall be included in the bid price.

Submission deadline is December 6th, 2023 by 1:30 p.m. local time. Bids received after that time shall not be considered. Separate sealed bids for the ARC Pine Ridge Sewer Extension for Harriman Utility Board will be received by Harriman Utility Board at the office of Harriman Utility Board, 200 North Roane Street, Harriman TN 37748 until 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time, December 6, 2023, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following:

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place at Harriman Utility Board (200 North Roane St., Harriman, TN 37748) at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time on November 20, 2023.

Copies may be obtained at the office of Cannon and Cannon, Inc. located at 10025 Investment Drive Suite 120, Knoxville, TN 37932 upon payment of $150.00 for each set. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning each set promptly and in good condition, will be refunded his payment, and any non- bidder upon so returning such a set will be refunded $150.00.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor’s Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon.

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
