Home Uplift 2024

The Harriman Utility Board (HUB) has recently partnered with TVA to launch Home Uplift, a program designed to provide weatherization services that will improve the energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and comfort of homes for income-qualified households in our electric service area.

Home Uplift participants will receive energy improvements at no cost to them. Possible upgrades could include high-efficiency heating and air conditioning, duct repair/replacement, insulation, a heat pump water heater, high-efficiency lighting, and more.

Eligibility criteria are fair and equitable. To qualify, participants must:

  • • Complete a Home Uplift online application (Scan the code to apply).
  • • Be at or below the income threshold – 200% Federal Poverty Level.
  • • Own and currently reside at the residence on the application; and
  • • Be a primary electric account holder of the HUB Electric System.

On May 31st, 2024, at 2 p.m., HUB will draw three winners from the registered applications, as well as alternates. TVA will then complete the qualification/evaluation process to install energy efficiency upgrades to these homes.

Deadline to Apply: May 30th
