12/2007 - Three Phase Line Extension/Cook’s Knob

 

Recently our line dept. finished building a long extension of three phase line to a new development on Hwy 328. This is a rather extensive mountainous development of 59 top notch home sites of 2-4 acres in phase A. This is somewhat like the Rarity Mountain development near Jellico on I-75. Other phases to be added later.
The extension consisted of 60 poles, & 52000 feet of wire. Plus all the hardware, guys, anchors, transformers, etc. to make it complete also several pulls of URD [underground residential distribution] for special needs.
